To ensure the proper and safe display of our signs, we require a traditional residential lawn. This entails an open space of grass with unobstructed soil. We can’t install signs in areas covered with rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, or thick landscaping. Signs cannot be placed near public utility boxes, water mains, or other city, county, or state-owned structures. We strive to avoid any risk of impeding access to these areas and potential fines or damage to our signs. Our team will drive a stake 10 inches into the ground to ensure the sign is securely installed.
It is best to call us within 48-72 hours of when you would like the stork delivered, and we will do our best to accommodate your rental delivery within 48-72 hours upon receipt of your payment. Advance rentals of storks are not offered at this time. Please note that we cannot make any guarantees of delivery time frame based on current inventory and delivery availability, but will always do our best to ensure a timely rental for your celebration!
For planned events such as Baby Showers, Sip & Sees and Gender Reveals, reservations are welcomed. Please provide a reservation as early as possible, but no later than 48 hours prior to your event.
For birth announcements, you can rent our stork sign for a full 7 days. An event rental is provided for 1 day.
We want to ensure your stork sign is perfectly placed for your enjoyment. By default, we stake the sign in the front yard, easily visible from the road. If you have a specific location in mind, let us know before we arrive, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Placing an order for our stork signs is super easy! You can share all the important details with us via the online form on our website, call us at (801) 676-9956, or email us at info@saltlakestorks.com. We offer credit card over the phone using Square. Once payment is complete, we’ll reserve your sign and get it ready for delivery. Just remember, full payment must be received before we can schedule your sign delivery.
We are based in Holladay, and offer delivery within 10 miles for free. For locations 10.1-20 miles away, we charge $10 for delivery. For locations 20.1-25 miles away, we charge $20 for delivery. For locations 25.1-30 miles away, we charge $30 for delivery. We handle everything, from delivery to set-up to pickup, allowing you to focus on enjoying this special time with your new bundle of joy!
For just $100 (plus taxes and fees), you can rent a stork sign for your birth announcement, complete with a personalized bundle that you can keep as a sweet memento. If you’re located within 10 miles of our base in Holladay, delivery is free. For locations farther out, delivery charges apply. Additional signs such as sibling/message stars, dog bones and cat signs are $25 each. Personalize them with your own message, and they’ll be left behind as keepsakes at the end of the rental period. We offer these signs in both pink and blue. Rush deliveries that are requested within 24 hours of order submission may be subject to an additional fee of $15+.
Yes. With your rental purchase, you are agreeing to photo(s) of your signs being posted on our website, Instagram and/or Facebook pages. We will always block out any address details and children’s faces. If you would like any details on the bundle covered, or have additional questions regarding our social media, please let us know at the time of ordering.
If you’re blessed with multiple births, we have you covered! We offer separate stork signs for each baby and every additional stork can be rented for $85 (plus taxes and fees). Each bundle carries the details of each baby.
We offer stork signs for proud grandparents as well, with generic or personalized bundles starting at $100 (plus taxes and fees). The storks can be rented for 7 days and will be installed in your yard to share the exciting news with your community. The personalized bundles have the baby’s details and are left behind as keepsakes when we pick up the storks.
A rental will be canceled under two circumstances. First, payment must be made 24 hours before the stork delivery date to avoid order cancellation. Second, extreme weather that causes unsafe conditions for delivery and/or high potential for damage to the stork.
We always strive to fulfill your requests to the best of our ability, but if there are any issues with your order, we’re happy to offer a refund. However, please note that we require a 24-hour notice to fulfill any last-minute requests that weren’t previously discussed at the time of booking. You’re eligible for a full refund in situations where you cancel your stork rental at least 24 hours before the delivery date, or extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up your sign.
We do not provide a refund in situations where we can’t access a gated community, the security guard at a gated community refuses entry, the homeowner or recipient doesn’t allow us to set up the sign, there’s a threatening animal preventing access to the property, or the residence does not have a traditional lawn (i.e. a wide expanse of unobstructed soil with grass on the top)
